¬†This is a great way to get your sweet fix without going crazy! We add in some extra nutritional benefits by popping the kernels in coconut oil, and adding cinnamon. Once you try this, you won’t want the sugar/toffee/butter covered popcorn again – this is delicious!


  • 75g popcorn kernels
  • 1Tbsp coconut oil
  • Cinnamon to taste


  1. Add the coconut oil to a large pan with a lid, and heat on medium-high until it’s melted to a liquid
  2. Add 2-3 popcorn kernels and wait until they pop
  3. Add some cinnamon, then add the rest of the popcorn kernels, put the lid on the pan and take off the heat
  4. Wait 30 seconds (this lets the kernels all heat up to the same temperature as the oil so they pop at the same time)
  5. Return to the heat and the kernels will start to pop soon. Shake the pan while the kernels pop
  6. When the popping slows to a few seconds between pops, take the pan off the heat, the popcorn is ready!
  7. You may want to sprinkle a bit more cinnamon over the popcorn at this point, give it a taste and see!
